Concept and theme:
A piece is inspired by the Nordic mythology characters "Norns". Norns are "female destiny powers who decide about a human's destiny and life length. They occur at the birth of a child, where as on a loom weaves the fate threads. "(Gyldendals "The Great Danish Dictionary").
Weave in Weave out is an abstract interpretation of a classic tale of life and death ... And our idea of great feminine power... Weaving is a recurring visual inspiration for the choreographic work and are used in movement patterns as well as the interaction between the dancers.
